One time pest services are still covered by our Retreatment Guarantee for up to 30-days unless otherwise specified. If Pests are seen after your expected ceased activity date, we will return at no extra charge within the service retreatment guarantee period. Some services such as Bed Bugs include a longer Retreatment Guarantee with treatment detailed in Treatment Specific Agreements.

Inspections: Pest Control WV will inspect your home on every service visit, allowing us to identify any new pests or pest evidence, or conducive conditions that may have established since our last visit. We will then determine the best treatment for those areas that have met the pest threshold, and treat with the appropriate methods in order to effectively control the pest/s.
Pest Assessments: Pest Control WV does provide Pest Assessments when applicable, (Typically at sign-up or After Wood Destroying Pest Treatment). These assessments are Free of Charge to our clients upon enrollment in a Re-Occurring Pest Prevention Plan, or during specialized Wood Destroying Pest Treatments. Our technicians will document the findings of the inspection and provide you with a detailed report with recommended actions when applicable. This helps to keep you informed of building/property maintenance that may be beneficial in controlling/eradicating pests utilizing Integrated Pest Management.
Monitoring: With an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach, monitoring using glue boards is a common practice. Monitoring devices allow our technicians to effectively track the pests in any given area, and select the proper method of control when the pests present exceed the pest threshold for treatment under the IPM plan. Pest Control WV will often utilize IPM principals along side traditional preventative treatments to maximize control and effectiveness, while minimizing chemical use. We do offer Full IPM plans for Schools and Daycare Centers, or any other client that may prefer this systematic approach.
Why "On-Request" Service is Necessary: IPM is heavy on inspections, and control using physical, enviornmental and biological control methods. However, some of the pests seeking harborage in and around your home for winter tend to find their way inside walls, crawls and attics in late fall. These pests proceed to come out on unseasonably warm winter days, usually in large numbers. Pests can include Stink Bugs, Asian Lady Beetles, and even Flies or Termites/Carpenter Ants after a large rainfall and warm weather, usually in later fall. When these pests or others arise, Pest Control WV is "On-Call" for our clients enrolled in a Pest Plan*, so that we may respond and act quickly to resolve your pest issues if/when they arise.
Early Intervention/ Ongoing Protection: With our regular service visits, our technicians will be able to identify if rodents, or other animals burrowing under the structures and recommend service as soon as possible. We will add additional photos to your account when we see pest conducive conditions. We visually inspect the exterior of your home each and every visit. Pest Control WV Guarantees treatment and re-treatment as needed for the covered pests on your plan year-round when enrolled in our re-occurring pest prevention plans according to the re-treatment visits allotted within your plan. Pest Control WV will re-inspect, and treat as necessary according to our Pest Control Agreement, including between scheduled visits when applicable. You can rest easy with Pest Control WV's Year-Round Guarantee. You can text us anytime, and we will respond when we are able during normal business hours.

Background Checked Technicians.
Our technicians at Pest Control WV are background checked prior to employment for your safety. We understand our technicians will be expected to enter clients homes, sometimes without any supervision. Pest Control WV prioritizes safety for our technicians and clients. Our technicians will be wearing or have readily available a scan-able badge in order to provide you with on the spot verification of their identity and credentials.

Entomologist Available.
Pest Control WV does provide access to an Entomologist for identification of species if/when necessary. This process can take a few weeks to receive information back.
What about Rainy or Snowy Days?
Rainy/Snowy Days: Pest Control WV does not apply liquid pesticides outside in the rain. We apply according to local and federal laws. However during rainy days, we are able to Inspect, De-Webb, perform Pest Assessments, Exclude for Pests, Treat Interiors, Treat Crack and Crevice with non-liquid products, and of course covered areas if infestations are present. Note: Integrated Pest Management can be classified as Majority- Application of Knowledge to Proper Inspection and Management through pest biology and habits and proper habitat or property modification efforts, while the REST of the process (Ongoing Prevention) is routinely applying perimeter bands of protective barriers using premium products.
