Frequently Asked Questions
Billing
When you are billed depends on the service you have scheduled. For One-time services, typically we accept signature before work is performed and bill after work is complete. Payment due upon receipt. However, some of the larger treatments may require payment up front, or a partial deposit.
For re-occurring services, we bill on the 1st of every month regardless of service interval. This is because Pest Control WV is on call in between services, and also give you, the customer 30 days to pay an invoice without penalty.
Currently we do not charge payment processing fees to the customer. That doesn't mean they do not exist. Pest Control WV pays all payment processing fees for our clients. Just one less fee you have to worry about when paying conveniently with a card or Account ACH.
Pest Control WV does charge late fees. Late fees are assessed at $25 per every 14 days you are late on your payment. This is due to the fact that we are a service business and we are commonly on a re-occurring schedule. We would need to ensure accounts are current, in order to maintain their next scheduled service.
Currently, Pest Control WV accepts cash, check, money order, and all major credit cards, Including VISA, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DISCOVER, and MASTERCARD.
We do also offer short-term financing through partnered financial institutions, see below "Do you offer financing?"
Yes, you may add a payment method for auto-billing. If you decide to turn on auto-billing for your account, please message us to let us know. We will have to adjust your account on the back end to ensure the payments are properly executed each cycle.
Of Course, Pest Control WV offers financing through Stripe and their financial partners. This offers the flexibility of short-term financing through After-Pay, Cash-App Pay, Affirm or Klarna. Currently these options are available on request for qualifying one-time treatments.

Our Pest Control Services and pesticides used are completely safe for newborns, kids and animals alike when fully dry or aerated. Pest Control WV will advise you of any instructions to be out of the home if applicable during treatment depending on the pests and products used. However, after our products have dried, they are all safe for children, and pets.
One-Time treatments are beneficial for some clients. Usually, these treatments are used for pests like, cockroaches, or bed bugs, hornets, yellowjackets, termites etc. However, most of the pests that can constitute a one-time treatment, can also possibly be prevented, or at least from infestation levels with re-occurring pest preventative maintenance plans. This will help to create a pest barrier that will discourage pest infestations to occur.
One-time treatments are based the pest, which could mean a one-time treatment for Bed Bugs is 2 visits. It is a treatment intended to get rid of the target pest this one time.
Re-occurring Treatments are scheduled service visits to provide inspection and treatment for and prevention of the covered pests. Often, re-occurring pest control provides long term value and desired control results as compared to one-time treatments.
The frequency of One-Time treatments is completely up to you as the customer and your pest threshold. Neighborly Pest Control recommends at least having your home inspected and treated at the beginning of each season, as there are new pests each season as well.
Pest Control WV 365Guarantee is our pest control guarantee for re-occurring pest control clients. We will provide Free re-service in between scheduled visits when applicable to ensure control and prevention of the pests listed on the Pest Control Service Agreement.
Neighborly Pest Control is more than spray and pray service. We utilize our comprehensive inspections to develop a plan for your home or business. We offer a wide variety of pesticides and tools for application, which allows us to adapt and integrate proper management techniques outside of liquid alone.
Neighborly Pest Control will assess and apply pesticide in all areas of concern during our scheduled visit/s. We do have products that repel pests and products that do not have repellent qualities. Neighborly Pest Control will always select and use the best product for the pest we are treating, and ensure lasting residual effectiveness.
Pest Control WV practices Integrated Pest Management, which means we always inspect, and then apply our knowledge and skills to the situation to eliminate pests, including pesticides when needed. We will treat inside during our initial visit, and on request when needed afterward for ongoing service.
Winter is commonly thought to be the time of year when least pests are present. This is in some cases true, many insects are over wintering. However, spiders are looking for warmer places to harbor, and rodents are constantly trying to find entry into structures. Termites tend to swarm in the late fall to winter with excess moisture and carpenter ants will also show themselves. During some of the unseasonably warmer days, you may find cluster flies, or Asian Lady Beetles and Stink bugs emerge from crawlspaces, cracks and crevices or attics to swarm warmer sides of the home in sunlight. Pest Control is beneficial at all times of the year, as long as your technician is adjusting to the proper treatments.
You can access product Labels and SDS information for all products here.
